Funeral Ministry

The Funeral Ministry is made up of volunteers who assist during parish funerals. The parish office contacts all volunteers at least 2 days before the funeral to see who is available to serve, based on individual schedules. When serving at a funeral Mass, ministry members arrive one hour early to set up. There are usually two ministry members and a priest. Volunteers greet the family and Mass attendees, hand out programs, and then clean up after the Mass.
