Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist (or Eucharistic Ministers) assist with distribution of the Eucharist to the assembly. All ministers of Holy Communion should show the greatest reverence for the Most Holy Eucharist by their demeanor, their attire, and the manner in which they handle the consecrated bread or wine. They also bring the Eucharist to the sick and homebound of our parish. This ministry comes with tremendous responsibility and also tremendous rewards.

I am deeply honored to lead the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. Nearly ten years ago, I was invited to consider becoming an Extraordinary Minister. After thoughtful prayer and discernment, I knew this would be a meaningful way to more fully participate in our liturgical celebrations and help others encounter the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Receiving the Eucharist is a profound source of spiritual nourishment and grace.
No matter what your calling may be, I warmly encourage everyone to get involved in parish life. Serving God and one another strengthens our community and deepens our shared faith journey.
